Day 1 – 28.12.2026 – Arrival in Istanbul
Welcome to Turkey! Upon your arrival at Istanbul Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to relax or begin exploring the vibrant city on your own. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2 – 29.12.2026 – Treasures of Old Istanbul Breakfast & Lunch Included
After breakfast at your hotel, your guide will meet you at 09:00 for a full-day tour of Istanbul’s historic heart.
Topkapi Palace: Discover the opulent world of the Ottoman sultans at their primary residence from the 15th to the 19th centuries. The palace houses an exquisite collection of crystal, silver, Chinese porcelain, and the famed jewels of the Imperial Treasury. We will also visit the Holy Mantle, which enshrines sacred relics of the Prophet Mohammed.
Hagia Sophia: A true masterpiece of engineering, this monumental structure dates to the 4th century and reigned as the world’s largest cathedral for nearly a millennium.
Blue Mosque: An icon of Ottoman architecture, this mosque is renowned for its breathtaking interior, adorned with over 20,000 hand-painted Iznik tiles, and is unique for its six slender minarets.
The Hippodrome: The former sporting and social hub of Constantinople, this ancient arena was the vibrant center of Byzantine public life.
Following a lunch break at 13:00, we proceed to the Grand Covered Bazaar. As one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, it is a mesmerizing labyrinth of over 4,000 shops. Celebrated for its jewelry, pottery, spices, and carpets, it offers the opportunity to witness a demonstration of traditional Turkish carpet weaving.
At the conclusion of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Day 3 – 30.12.2026 – Bosphorus Cruise, Palaces & Panoramas Breakfast & Lunch Included
Today, we explore the vibrant waterways, grand palaces, and stunning vistas of Istanbul.
Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar): We begin at the second oldest covered bazaar in the city. Immerse yourself in the authentic aromas of exotic spices, dried fruits, nuts, and Turkish delights.
Bosphorus Cruise: Embark on a scenic boat journey along the Bosphorus, the legendary strait that separates Europe and Asia. From the water, you will admire Istanbul’s stunning skyline, including historic palaces, imposing fortresses like Rumeli Fortress (the 15th-century stronghold built by Mehmet the Conqueror), and elegant private mansions.
Dolmabahçe Palace: After the cruise, we will visit the magnificent Dolmabahçe Palace. As the first European-style palace in the Ottoman Empire, this 19th-century marvel is famed for its opulent blend of architectural styles, featuring 285 rooms, 43 grand halls, and a fabulous collection of European antiques.
Çamlıca Hill: To conclude our day, we will drive to the highest point in Istanbul to enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire city, the Bosphorus, and beyond.
You will then be returned to your hotel.
Day 4 – 31.12.2026 – New Year’s Eve Gala on the Bosphorus Breakfast & Dinner Included
Enjoy a leisurely day in preparation for an unforgettable New Year’s celebration.
In the evening (pickup between 19:30 – 20:00), you will be transferred to your gala boat for a spectacular dinner cruise. Welcome 2027 while floating between two continents, surrounded by the illuminated city skyline.
The evening features a delicious gourmet dinner, live entertainment from a professional DJ, and vibrant traditional Turkish show programs. You’ll cruise past iconic landmarks like Dolmabahçe Palace, the Bosphorus Bridge, and the Maiden’s Tower, all lit up for the celebration. Dance the night away or simply relax and enjoy the unparalleled views.
After the celebration (around midnight), you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Day 5 – 01.01.2027 – Departure Breakfast Included
After breakfast, another of Grandoria’s adventures comes to an end. We trust you have enjoyed your New Year’s journey in Turkey and wish you a safe and pleasant flight home.
