Day 1 – Arrival in Istanbul
Upon your arrival in Istanbul, our representative will be there to greet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. During the drive, you’ll get your first glimpse of this vibrant city that bridges two continents, blending rich history with modern charm.
Once you arrive at your hotel, check-in and take some time to settle in and relax after your journey. You may choose to spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the local area, sampling some delicious Turkish cuisine or simply unwinding to prepare for the exciting adventures ahead. We are delighted to have you here and hope you have a wonderful stay!
Day 2 – Istanbul Old City Tour Breakfast & Lunch Included
Morning: Having breakfast in the hotel, picking up time for the tour at 09:00 to enjoy a full day tour in Istanbul.
- Hagia Sophia: First stop will be Hagia Sophia, the 4th biggest church in the world. Construction dates to the 4th century and it was chosen as the 2nd best engineering structure of human history by BBC.
- Blue Mosque: Then we will visit the Blue Mosque, the best interior designed mosque in Ottoman architecture with its 20,000 pieces İznik tiles. It is unique with its 6 minarets.
- Hippodrome: Moving on with Hippodrome, the center of Byzantine entertainment where 30,000 civilians were killed by order of the queen during the Nika revolt.
- Grand Covered Bazaar: Lunch break at 13:00. After lunch we will discover Grand Covered Bazaar, one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, with more than 58 covered streets and over 4,000 shops attracting between 250,000 and half a million visitors daily. Well known for its jewelry, pottery, spice, and carpet shops. We will visit a handmade Turkish carpets demonstration.
Time to return back to hotel.
Day 3 – Istanbul Flight to Ankara & Cappadocia Tour Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included
After your breakfast we will transfer you to Istanbul airport for your Ankara Flight. Once you’ve reached Ankara, we will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to hotel.
Tour starts in the morning from the Hotel or from the airport. Visit the Hittite Museum and Mausoleum of Atatürk. After lunch, drive to Cappadocia. Dinner & overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 4 – Cappadocia Tour Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit to the underground city of Özkonak & Citadel of Uçhisar.
After lunch, continue with the valley of "Göreme" & Open Air Museum. The last sites will be Devrent Valley and Avanos. Return to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 5 – Cappadocia to Pamukkale Tour Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included
Early departure for Pamukkale. On the way, visit the 13th century Seljukian caravanserai "Sultanhan".
Lunch en route, and visit the ancient city of Hierapolis. See the ruins of the biggest Necropolis Graveyard of the ancient world, Roman Baths, Basilica and calcium cliffs. Drive to Pamukkale Hotel for dinner & overnight.
Day 6 – Pamukkale & Izmir Tour Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included
Breakfast and drive to Meryemana to visit the House of Virgin Mary. After lunch, continue to Ephesus, the Roman Capital of Asia Minor.
Visit the ruins of Odeon, Hercules Gate, the Temple of Hadrian, the magnificent library, Agora and fantastic Greco-Roman theatre. Dinner and overnight stay in Izmir.
Day 7 – Izmir & Çanakkale Tour Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included
Early departure for Çanakkale. Before lunch, visits of Asklepion. Continue for Troy, the legendary town in the Iliad of Homer, and visit the Athena temple.
Drive to Çanakkale for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8 – Çanakkale & Bursa & Istanbul Tour Breakfast & Lunch Included
After breakfast in the morning, drive to İstanbul via Bursa, which is the first capital city of the Ottoman Empire. Bursa is known by its mosques, thermal Turkish Baths and its production of silk.
Visit the Green Mosque of Bursa and museum. Visit the silk bazaar and continue with lunch. After lunch, drive to İstanbul and arrive at your hotel in the afternoon. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 9 – Departure from Istanbul Breakfast Included
One of Grandoria’s adventures concludes after breakfast. We hope you have enjoyed your journey through Turkey. Wishing you all the best and a pleasant flight.
