Day 1 – Arrival in Istanbul
Welcome to Turkey! Arrive into Istanbul. Transfer from airport & check in to your hotel.
You will be given your room key and the rest of the day is yours to explore the vibrant city. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2 – Istanbul Old City Tour Breakfast & Lunch Included
Morning: Having breakfast in the hotel, picking up time for the tour at 09:00 to enjoy a full day tour in Istanbul.
- Hagia Sophia: First stop will be Hagia Sophia, the 4th biggest church in the world. Construction dates to the 4th century and it was chosen as the 2nd best engineering structure of human history by BBC.
- Blue Mosque: Then we will visit the Blue Mosque, the best interior designed mosque in Ottoman architecture with its 20,000 pieces Iznik tiles. It is unique with its 6 minarets.
- Hippodrome: Moving on with Hippodrome, the center of Byzantine entertainment where 30,000 civilians were killed by order of the queen during the Nika revolt.
- Grand Covered Bazaar: Time to discover Grand Covered Bazaar, one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, with more than 58 covered streets and over 4,000 shops attracting between 250,000 and half a million visitors daily. Well known for its jewelry, pottery, spice and carpet shops. We will visit a handmade Turkish carpets demonstration.
Time to return back to hotel.
Day 3 – Istanbul Flight to Kusadasi Breakfast Included
After your breakfast at hotel we will transfer you to Istanbul Airport for your domestic flight to Izmir/Kusadasi.
Next check in to the hotel in Kusadasi, have dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 4 – Kusadasi – Ephesus Tour – Turkish Village Sirince Breakfast & Lunch Included
Ephesus ancient city is a 9000 years old city that houses the biggest temple dedicated to Artemis, The Artemision, which is considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. This guided tour will focus on the Curetes street, famous Roman baths, Celsus Library.
Sirince Village's local 19th-century architecture is well preserved and the village reputation goes beyond the borders of Izmir. It is famous for its homemade wines that are specially made from different kinds of fruits such as blackberries, blueberries, melons and strawberries. Here the tour includes wine tasting and learning how to make fruit wine in the wine houses. Plus handicrafts made by local women can be bought and a very famous leather production center will be the next stop.
Day 5 – Kusadasi – Pamukkale Tour Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included
Around 8:00 the tour will move to the world-famous marvel of calcite travertines in Pamukkale. Before walking or swimming in Pamukkale’s travertine pools we will have a lunch break around 13:30.
Walking around white calcium terraces and the ruins of Hierapolis, lying in the natural, hot springs waters will renew your body. The region at the same time has well-known textile products and there will be an outlet shopping chance. Overnight in Pamukkale.
Day 6 – Pamukkale to Antalya Breakfast Included
After a great breakfast, at about 10:00 am the tour will depart for Antalya with coffee breaks along the way.
Dinner and overnight in Antalya.
Day 7 – Antalya Old City Tour and Waterfalls Breakfast & Lunch Included
The day will start with a great breakfast. Antalya is a city where the sea, sun, beach, forest and coves have made it an attractive location throughout history. Many civilizations lived here and left a historical treasure behind.
Kaleici is the Old City where you can trace Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk, and Ottoman periods. Hadrian’s Gate (built in the name of Roman Emperor Hadrian), Yivli Minaret Complex, Giyaseddin Keyhusrev Madrasah, Selcuklu Madrasah, Zincirkiran Turbah, Nigar Hatun Turbah, Karatay Madrasa, and the Historical Marina are pieces of this treasure visited during the tour. Plus Karaalioglu Park reflects the flora of Antalya, and Hidirlik Tower can be seen in Kaleici. Duden Waterfall will be the next stop to relax and be enchanted by its stunning view. Overnight in Antalya.
Day 8 – Antalya to Cappadocia Breakfast Included
After your breakfast at hotel we will transfer you to Antalya Airport for your flight to Cappadocia.
Next check in to the hotel in Cappadocia and overnight stay in Cappadocia.
Day 9 – Cappadocia Underground City & Goreme Open Air Museum Breakfast & Lunch Included
After breakfast at 09:30 depart for Cappadocia Tour. We will drive you to Ozkonak Underground City, one of the best preserved Underground cities in Cappadocia. After Underground City tour, you visit Goreme Open Air Museum, the Heart of Cappadocia. Goreme Open Air Museum is famous for frescoes dating to 10th century describing the life of Jesus Christ and monks.
Next stop is Cavusin, an abandoned village with old cave Greek houses. After Cavusin you go to the restaurant in Avanos to have lunch. After lunch, you visit a pottery workshop to see how potteries are made. Then you go to Love Valley, a hidden valley with scenic rock formations. Next stop is Devrent Valley (Imagination Valley), where you can see natural rock formations resembling animals. Last stop is Three Beauties, three beautiful fairy chimneys with their hats, symbol of Cappadocia. Tour ends approximately at 18:00. Transfer back to hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 10 – Cappadocia to Istanbul – End of Tour Breakfast Included
